A Walk in the Woods with Jane Bullis
Jane Bullis, Naturalist at Merrill Creek Reservoir, will lead us on an armchair
nature walk—where to look and what to look for, to enjoy nature this Fall. For
Friends members and their invited guests. Not a member? Join the Friends below.
Who are the Friends?
The Friends is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting our
library. We collect dues and raise funds to provide gifts to the library and to
sponsor programs for the benefit of all readers.
What do the Friends Do?
The Friends contribute to the library in many ways. On an ongoing basis
we:
- Financially support programs for children
- Represent the Library at Ole Town Festival, Community
Days and other events
- Sponsor the annual, two-day Spring Used Book Sale at the
Library
- Sponsor enriching and enlightening programs like the
Author Visit series
- Create and staff the annual Library Hunt for local
children
- Support the Summer Reading Program for the children of
the area
