 Metamorphosis Teen Summer Reading Club 2008

• If you are entering grade 6-12, you are welcome to join.

• Come in and get a reading log on or after June 23.

• Each time you complete a book, enter the pertinent info in your log and fill out an entry form for the weekly drawing.

• All entries will be kept toward the Grand Prize drawing on August 7  ($50 gift card to Phillipsburg Mall).

Weekly meetings will be held on Thursday evenings from

6:30 – 8:30pm.  The tentative weekly schedule is

6/26   Ice cream sundaes & intro to the reading club

7/3     Movie: Them

7/10   Karaoke and game night

7/17   Movie:  Men in Black

7/24   Mystery game

7/31   Movie:  Beetlejuice

8/7     Party and Grand Prize Drawing

The Teen Book Group will meet on two Tuesday evenings from 6:30-7:30.   On July 15 we will discuss Dr. Franklin’s Island by Ann Halam.  This book is the 2008 One Book New Jersey selection for young adults. Multiple copies are available.   The second meeting will be August 5 and will be a “book pass” and we’ll share opinions on anything and everything we’ve read over the summer.
